Martunis, an Indonesian boy who survived the tsunami last December and was found 19 days after the tragedy wearing a shirt of the Portuguese national soccer team, now is in Portugal.
The boy, who traveled with his father, fulfilled his dream: meeting the players of the Portuguese national soccer team and their coach Luis Felipe Scolari.
Martunis survived without food or water during 19 days before being found by a television team of Sky News network.
The news deeply touched the Portuguese team who has donated a house and a plot of land for Martunis family to start a new life.
Six months after the tsunami, the young fan of Portugal traveled with his father to the Iberian country to meet players like Figo, Cuaresma and goalkeeper Ricardo.
On Saturday Martunis will be present in La Luz Stadium, at Lisbon, for a World Cup qualifier versus Slovakia.
After learning of Martunis story, Portuguese firm Ferreira donated the furniture for the child. On the other hand, the players of the national soccer team collected 20,000 euros through an auction, and additionally 16,800 dollars were collected in shirts sales.
